We need you!
Over the past few years the Folsom Soccer Club (FSC) has seen a decrease in the number of parents volunteering and getting involved. As a not-for-profit organization, we need many, many volunteers to support the 2400 children who currently play in the Folsom Soccer Club.
One of the key components to running a successful club is a volunteer board of directors working behind the scenes to ensure our club runs smoothly. The Folsom Soccer Club is currently seeking people interested in getting involved by becoming a member of the FSC Board of Directors in 2019.
The board of directors has the power to control and manage the affairs and property of the Folsom Soccer Club. The board meets on a monthly basis to conduct the business of the club. Below you will find a list of the FSC board positions and a brief description of their responsibilities. Many positions require no knowledge of soccer. If you are interested in getting involved CLICK HERE to get more information. The 2019 board of directors will be voted in during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for January 7, 2019.
If you would like to get more involved, but are not ready for a position on the board, there are many other opportunities that are a good first step in getting involved. Contact me for more info.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Please consider becoming involved in YOUR soccer club.
